Why?
Movies now a days are truly not like how they used to be. People now are more excited about the next comic book adaptation, terrible remake or sloppy addition to a classic. I am tired of the safe choices that Hollywood now thinks is art and clever. So I decided that I would dive head first into the carefully cultivated and large list of The Criterion Collection to watch movies that will make me enjoy film again.
This is all for me. I am documenting and using this as a creative outlet. An excuse to watch movies? Yes absolutely.
I am not looking to gain anything from this and I am not going to be reviewing movies. I will be reflecting on what I watched in an online archive.
